Information we collect

We collect personal information when you provide it, when our services generate it through your interaction, and when service providers process it for us.

Information you provide

Depending on how you interact with Ceraluna, you may provide:

• Contact and profile information, such as your name, email address, business name, website, and professional or social profile links.
• Scorecard information, including responses about leadership, strategic planning, operations, finance, team, marketing, and sales; calculated category scores; and your Personalized Growth Capacity Report.
• Application information, including a business description, years in business, revenue and profitability ranges, team size, business challenges, goals, investment readiness, and commitment level.
• Communication information, such as messages, replies, scheduling details, feedback, call notes, and requests you send to us.
• Client and transaction information, such as agreements, service preferences, billing contact information, payment status, and engagement records.
• Marketing choices, including whether you asked to receive marketing communications and records of an unsubscribe or other preference.

Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information or confidential information about another person in an open-text field.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website or use a form, our hosting, form, and security providers may process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, form submission identifiers, and security or diagnostic logs.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from a service provider when it performs a task you request, such as delivering a form submission, scheduling a call, processing a payment, or delivering an email. We may also receive information from a professional or social profile when you choose to share it with us.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Provide the website, scorecard, application, and services or experiences you request.
• Calculate scorecard category scores and prepare and deliver your requested Personalized Growth Capacity Report.
• Review applications and determine whether a conversation or engagement may be a mutual fit.
• Respond to questions, schedule conversations, and communicate about requested services.
• Provide, administer, personalize, and improve client engagements.
• Send growth insights, resources, and occasional offers when you have chosen to receive marketing.
• Maintain communication preferences and honor unsubscribe requests.
• Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve our website, forms, workflows, and communication systems.
• Prevent misuse, fraud, duplicate processing, and security incidents.
• Maintain business, accounting, contractual, and legal records; protect Ceraluna, our clients, and others; and respond to lawful requests.

The scorecard and your email choices

The Growth Capacity Scorecard uses your responses to calculate category scores and prepare the Personalized Growth Capacity Report you request. The scorecard is an informational business-growth tool, and its scores do not automatically determine whether Ceraluna accepts an application or client engagement.

If you provide an email address to receive your Personalized Growth Capacity Report, we will use it to deliver that report and related service communications. Providing your email address for this purpose does not, by itself, subscribe you to marketing communications.

Marketing communications are optional and require a separate affirmative choice. If you choose to receive them, we may send practical growth insights, resources, and occasional offers. You may withdraw that choice at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us. A later scorecard submission will not automatically override an earlier unsubscribe without a new valid marketing choice.

When we share information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers. Providers may process information as necessary to perform services for us and support our business operations.
• Professional advisers. Lawyers, accountants, insurers, and other advisers may receive information when reasonably necessary to provide their services.
• Legal and safety obligations. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect rights, safety, or security; investigate misuse; or enforce agreements.
• Business transactions. Information may be disclosed in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
• At your direction. We may disclose information when you ask us to or otherwise authorize it.

We do not sell personal information

Your personal information is not for sale. Ceraluna does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not disclose it to third parties for their own direct marketing or cross-context behavioral advertising.

We disclose personal information only as described in this Policy, including to service providers that help us operate the website, deliver your Personalized Growth Capacity Report, communicate with you, and provide requested services.

Service providers

We use service providers to support functions such as website hosting, forms and assessments, workflow automation, contact management, email delivery, scheduling, electronic signatures, payment processing, file storage, security, and other business operations. These providers may process personal information as necessary to provide services to us, comply with law, and protect their services.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy and to meet applicable legal, accounting, contractual, security, and dispute-resolution requirements. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we take appropriate steps to delete or deidentify it, subject to applicable law and routine backup or archival processes. We may retain limited records of communication preferences, including unsubscribe requests, to honor those choices.

Data security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy choices and rights

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications, ask us to update your communication preferences, or contact us with a question about our handling of your information.

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may also have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; receive a portable copy of certain information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent for future processing; or appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.

To submit a privacy request, email team@ceralunaconsulting.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity or authority before responding. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law, subject to applicable exceptions.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right available under applicable law.

Browser privacy signals

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no uniform industry standard for responding to these signals, our website does not currently respond to them. We will honor legally recognized privacy preference signals where required by applicable law.

International processing

Ceraluna is based in the United States and may occasionally work with people outside the United States. Personal information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy and data-protection rules in those locations may differ from those in your location.

Children’s privacy

Our services are for adults age 18 and older and are not directed to children. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information through our services, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Third-party links and services

Our website and communications may link to third-party websites or services, including social networks, scheduling services, or other resources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. We encourage you to review those policies before providing personal information.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as our services, providers, or practices change. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide an additional notice when appropriate.
